The Noon Bible Study

Each year the Noon Bible Study focuses on either a single book of the Bible or on a single theme as it is treated throughout the Bible. With a fairly narrow scope of material to be covered, participants have the opportunity to examine passages of scripture in depth and also to see how those passages are supported and amplified by passages from other parts of the Bible. The course emphasizes sound theological understanding but places great importance on applying that understanding to the practical matters and relationships of the modern Christian’s life. In the past two years the group has studied the book of John and also has taken a detailed look at the five points of Calvinism.

Ably led by FPC member Jack Forbus, the Noon Bible Study meets from 12:00 until 1:00 every Thursday, from September to June.
